Security Measures “Security is emerging as the essential element that must be woven into the fabric of a corporate network, bringing together critical resources such as the infrastructure, systems, applications and users” (Papazoglou & Ribbers, 2006, p. 1) . In the past companies could implement firewalls and packet filters that would protect un trusted users from entering a network domain and accessing proprietary data. With the evolution of more efficient supply chain business practices the ability to contain proprietary corporate information behind such security measures becomes less effective. Businesses need a way to share information securely between corporate domains.
