Nukleotidy

Biology16 CardsCreated 3 months ago

Nucleotides are the basic building blocks of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). Each nucleotide consists of a nitrogenous base (e.g. adenine), a sugar (ribose or deoxyribose), and one or more phosphate groups. For example, ATP (adenosine triphosphate) contains adenosine and three phosphate groups attached to the 5' carbon of the sugar.
