    The Comprehensive Project Plan 1. Describe the project scope and project management plan. Align your plan to the overall strategy that you had recommended to the senior executives in Assignment 2. T he project scope is very important in determining whether or not the project will be practicable . If the definition of the project scope is incomplete, there will be so many problems regarding the project, particularly in the preliminary stages of the project ( Margerison C.J & McCann D J , 1995 ).The specific project that the unit will be task will be to manufacture and develop superior touring class of motorcycles. The unit that will be in control of execut ing this project will be semi - autonomous. It will have the capability to make small payments and purchases as well as make its own reports, separate from the home company. The unit will have its own administration and staff separate from that of the home company. The work breakdown will be as follows: 3. Determine the accessibility of materials that are needed to manufacture the motorcycles 4. Determine the level of experienced people required to complete the project adequately . 1. Determine the best type of engine and the engine requirements. 5. Determine the time frame for the finishing of the different levels of the project. 2. Determine the target market 6. Calculate and estimate the cost of the whole project as well as the cost amount of each individual action in the project. Also w e will come up with a quality measurement mechanism. The quality of the manufacturing and development process will be verified at each stage ( Margerison C.J & McCann D J , 1995) . The team related to t he project will be selected both from the outside as well as company. First p references will be given to the present employees of the company. However, if technical proficiency beyond that of the present staff is needed , such well expertise will be outsourced .
