Currentlythey have357 retail stores and about 50.000 employees all over the world.One word thatmakes them stand apart from their competitors and makes them the market leader is“innovation. It is leader of the electronic business and has become the world largest ITtechnology company.ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTUREApple organizational structure is one of the key factors which make it very successful.The organizational structure at Apple when Steve Jobs was the CEO was like a monarchy.Under his leadership everything was managed and controlled from single point i.e. the CEOof the company. Since the overall structure was influenced by him hence the organizationalculture reflects his thinking and his way of leading. The CEO and board of directors ofApple, Inc. “glue” all the decisions together and their decisions will go straight down the lineto every employee of the company (Lashinsky, 2011). Through the straight approach, anydecision from the top executives of Apple, Inc. is instantaneous. It helps Apple quickly grabany opportunities if the board of director identifies any missing obvious ideas of the companyproducts.However as the company progressed and touched greater heights of success theorganizational structure also evolved.
