    ORTHODOX • The Orthodox Church started on the Day of Holy Pentecost in Jerusalem in 33 AD with the aim to preserve teaching of C hrist • The church later divided into two major families of Churches :Eastern and the Oriental Orthodox Churches. • Oriental orthodox dispute the rulings of the Council of Chalcedon while Eastern Orthodox agree with the first eight Ecumenical Council.
