Introduction:The juvenile crime isaserious issue for USA as there were 73.8million youthunder age of 18 inthe USA in the year of 2012. So the rising crime among youth becomes a grave condition for lawand order to tackle.According to the article, Juvenile the rate of crime was 60 percent in childrenwho were exposed to crime or violence and also being abused in their homes, schools andcommunities in the previous year of 2008. There were 46 percent youth became victim of assaultand ten percent nearly injured.Courts in the US had disposed more than 1.3 million cases relatedwith delinquency. The investigation of the nearly 2 million reports related with maltreatment andinvolving more than 3.5 million children in 2010 shows the intensity of crime rates possibilities.In that the children who were infants and toddler comprised one third of maltreatedvictims andthe neglect was the most pervasive form of maltreatment because 62 percent of cases wereconcerned with this form. There were 225 arrests for violent crime index offenses and it wasamong the 100000 youth those were between the age group of10 and17. There were morevictimization report ofHispanic black youth and ratewas twice than thenon Hispanic whiteyouth. It was also found that violent crime committed by juvenile people was at peak after theschool hours. Nearly 8 percent of homicides were related with juvenile offenders in US in 2010.The ratio of homicide was one per 3.5 million students enrolled during the year of 2010-2011.Reports of threatening to the black and Hispanic students were more than the white students. In2009, 22 percent arrest involving youth for crime were sorted out at state level while 67 percentwere referred to the juvenile court and remaining people were referred to the criminal courts.
