    Overview of project • This is a small scale project for a web application that covers books and novels written by Prof. Trisha George. The web application will enable new visitors to the site be able to view her professional resume information about her writing, details of classes , the departmental information from her faculty and last but not least be able to shop from the site.

    • The basic idea is that customer’s can create an account to be able to buy the books and novels online. Students can also login to access information about her classes. • The application will enable potential customers to view product details ,status of their shopping cart ,the site provides a secure means of payment online. • The administrator can enter the name and password that enables one to get reports also perform tasks like add, search, delete a book or novel from the database. • The main aim of this web application is to manage the novels and books available for sale, also assist the customers purchase products online without having to consult Her directly.

    Advantages • The intended outcome of this project is to provide a user friendly interface that is secure and convenient to use for both students and potential customers. • The web application will facilitate feedback , email support, clients track the delivery of books and novels via internet. • The key areas will be the backend (administrator section)and frontend (normal user) , hence encourages security and efficiency of the application. • The improved online payment methods will boost customer confidence thus fostering more sales. • The application will act as a one stop shop for customer to access the books and novels, class information for students at a click. • The application will reduce cost of advertising for the Professor hence a cost effective method of advetising to a
