They say that if youhad not seen television for a long time then you are missing something. But they forgot to addthe flip side of the coin that said if you watch television for long timethenyou are getting a lotthat is not good for you.Off late there has been a lot of discussion in many forums that watchingtelevisionis causing serious problems in the society. The real aim of entertainment has gonemissing from the television and the seat has been taken by the lots of psychological andphysiological effects on the human body and mind. When the invention and the predominance ofthe television started it wasbelievedthat this will act as the medium ofcommunication,education and entertainment. Whensomething’swill have to becommunicated to alongerdistance thanone just needs to act or collect that information and the same can be relayedthrough theairwavesand will reach the receiver or the viewer.But the difference was createdwhen the television was started to be used as the means of thumping on some idea. Too muchcompetition became a part of the game and the consumer became a mere spectator and wasforced to see what was beings served to him. The situationhas now become such that watchingtelevision for long hours than you are prone to be caught by numerouspsychological andphysiological problems that will be detailed in the coming report.ThesisIn this part we will try to elaborate the effects of watching television for long hours and watchingtoo much television. It is true that watching too much television has become a severe problem for
