    "Critical Thinking in the Workplace" Please respond to the following:  The video clip “Thinking on the Job” in the Webtext this week illustrates the importance of critical thinking, especially in work contexts. Define the concept of critical thinking in your own words. o Critical thinking is ability to understanding thoughts concepts and ideas clearly that is developed from a certain mode of thinking about these subject, content, or problem . A crucial thinker basically would improve the quality of his thinking by carefully and skillfully analyzing, assessing, and reconstructing the original situation. It is self - directed, self - disciplined, self - monitored, and self - corrective thinking by the thinker himself .  Discuss a time in either your work or personal life in which you needed to be able to use critical thinking to either solve a problem or acquire a skill. o I run a small electronic shop that impo rt and sell used electronic fro m overseas. Most of the time, issues with the importation policies, currency strength and also the market availability for my imported product. I have to think critically on the amount of goods I import against the market demand, how much I am to import such that I will make profit and at the same time avoiding high spending at the port in terms of transporting and clearance. Again not all the times will the market demand equal the supply and so I have to foresee this so as to avoid the avoidable losses.  Determine the manner in which you would show a potential employer that you possess solid critical thinking skills.
