Solution: According to the textbook, a “dominant culture articulates the core values shared by a majority of an organization's members” (Baack, 2012). It also states that a subculture, “in an organizational context, arises from the common problems, situations, and experiences that a set of members face” (Baack, 2012). Even though subcultures exist, most societies and organizations are better known by their dominant culture because it has a better reflection of the beliefs and principles of the people.
