Analysis of Nurse Response Times Across Shifts: January 1 – 15, 2013 Analyze the average nursing shift response times for the first 15 days in January 2013 as presented in the report. Discuss the performance, consistency, and deviations for the night, evening, and day shifts. Propose potential factors contributing to the observed trends and suggest measures for improving the response times in each shift. Also, evaluate the significance of deviations across shifts and how these might impact patient care. Provide recommendations for further improvements. Word Count Requirement: 750 – 1000 words. February 24, 2013 Director of Nursing , The purpose of this report is to present the average response time for the nurses on each shift for each of the first 15 days in January of this year . At the end of this report you will find a graphic displaying the desired information in the form of three overlapping line graphs. It would be preferable to reduce or eliminate these as much as possible, but they are not unacceptable. One trend that may be interesting is that the deviations in one shift did not
