There is no significant difference between the classes and any obtained difference is a result of chance occurrence due to sampling error . b. What is the research hypothesis? The professor believes that this year’s class is superior to his previous ones. c. Is this a one or two tailed hypothesis? Two tailed hypothesis or Non directional d. Which test should you use? Why? Z - test for single samples because it is used to compare the sample mean and the population mean and check if there is a significant difference and if the parameters of the null - hypothesis population are known e.
