Week 4, DQ4: Which Persuasive Approach Is Best? Consider a controversial issue that is of great importance to you, such as K~12 education. Some believe that home schooling offers more a diverse and safer option. Others favor privatization in the hopes that a particular set of values can be instilled in students and that those who are the best can distinguish themselves from the rest. Yet others believe that public education is the best option for shared values and broad - based socioeconomic uplift. The arg uments are more complex, but each position can be presented as a real world exercise in persuasion. Or, you could choose  gun control,  the privatization of military operations overseas,  a medical intervention or drug,  an expansion of public health care to citizens younger than 65,  university sports programs, etc. Identify two key audiences. What different persuasive approaches would you use on these audiences? Should your approach differ? If so, why? If not, why not?
