Diversity in culture has forced companies to cater for this diversity in terms of how theymanage their employees. As a result, emphasis on human resource management has becomeincreasingly important. Today, human resource management formsanintegral part oforganizations, thus managers have to be well equipped on how to manage human capital whilepursing day to day operations in an environment that has become extremely competitive(Burke,Noblet, & Coope, 2013).Elements of globalizationGlobalization has had profound impact on how firms are conducting their activities.
