The name is the Acute Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center. 2. Provide a descrip Ɵ on of the program or service . When a pa Ɵ ent has a wound that has not healed within a few weeks’ Ɵ me, it is Ɵ me to check in to the Core Group’s Pain Management Center. This Wound Care Center will establish an individualized plan of treatment that may include specialized wound dressings, debridement, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, skin gra Ō ing, etc. The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, also known as HBOT, saturates the pa Ɵ ent’s blood plasma with pure, healing oxygen (about 15 - 20% more than the normal amount) as it is carried to the body’s Ɵ ssues. Our Hyperbaric Oxygen Care Group will bene fi t those individuals with diabe Ɵ c ulcers, chronic refactory osteomyeli Ɵ s, skin gra Ō s and fl aps, crush injuries/acute trauma Ɵ c peripheral ischemia, etc.
