Running Head: REVIEW OF LITERATURES2IntroductionIn the context of happiness, we could see a great smile on the face of peoplethatdescribes about their real feeling, whiletheexpressionon the face of peopleisnot attractive, itmeans the person is not well and not happy.On the basis ofreal life expression,it could be statedthata personsmile, it is becausethat he orsheishappy, anda personcouldfrownbecauseofhisor hersadness.A person is happy or sad, it could be justifiedinhis or her faceor correspondingfacial expressions(Ahmed,2008).But initially there was not a division line that could be able tomake the differencebetweenexpression, emotional responses and their impacts onthe feelingsof the human being.For conduction this research study, I have selected five articles that aregiven below.Smiling causes HappinessThefirst researchstudyisconducted by Hess, Adams & Kleck (2005).In thisresearchprocess, researchers focus over theemotionalresponseof man and woman in the context ofhappiness and anger.In this research study, the researchermakesa hypothesissuch as the anger is moreappropriatefor male individual and smile is effective for women are based on their perceptions.For thishypothesis,theresearcher alsoformsthreestudies.For these studies, the researchers usedifferent methods and different population for getting the data and information.Thefirst studyhelps him to testthemediation modelon the basis of man and womanalong with theirperceptions.For this study, they also select 25 men and 29 women to collect data.On the otherhand,secondstudy includesthe vignette approachthathelps the researchers toknowabouttheconversion ofexpectationsintoprescriptivesocial norms.They also take the help of 151 menand 151 women.
